Windows 11 is the ‘next generation of Windows,’ Microsoft's new operating system, which was released on 4 October 2021. When developing Windows 11, Microsoft realised that the new Windows had to be a powerful operating system for desktop PCs. The company focused on important areas such as improving multitasking when working with multiple windows, improving support for multiple monitors, supporting modern gaming technologies, and distributing traditional desktop applications in the Microsoft Store.
